The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddel swivels and escapes.
Liddel stuffs the takedown attempt from Day. Day gets slowly back to his feet.
Liddel throws a right hand that Day ducks under and follows up with a left that Day also avoids with ease.
Liddel throws out a powerful jab.
Liddel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Day shoots for a takedown but Liddel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tota Liddel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Day.
Day walks into a left hand.
Liddel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Day avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Liddel misses with an attempted mid kick.
Liddel drops Day with a big left hand! Day is injured, injured bad! Liddel jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
