Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grimgoy Jager Dgak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsunemoto Kanegawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsunemoto Kanegawa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Grimgoy Jager Dgak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsunemoto Kanegawa! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kanegawa fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Kanegawa fakes the leg kick and cracks Jager Dgak in the body. Kanegawa clinches. Kanegawa has Jager Dgak pressed against the cage, preventing Jager Dgak from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jager Dgak misses with an elbow strike.
Kanegawa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jager Dgak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kanegawa scores with a jab to the head.
Jager Dgak fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jager Dgak stuffs the takedown attempt from Kanegawa. Kanegawa gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Kanegawa. No joy for Jager Dgak on that attempt. Jager Dgak tries to clinch but Kanegawa moves out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jager Dgak.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kanegawa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Grimgoy Jager Dgak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tsunemoto Kanegawa. Jager Dgak tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kanegawa shoots in for a double leg but Jager Dgak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jager Dgak closes the distance and clinches up with Kanegawa, looking for a takedown. Jager Dgak pushes Kanegawa against the cage but Kanegawa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kanegawa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jager Dgak's waist but Jager Dgak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kanegawa off to one side. Jager Dgak tries to clinch but Kanegawa moves out of range. Jager Dgak wants to clinch up but Kanegawa keeps it at a distance. Jager Dgak misses with a body kick. Kanegawa stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jager Dgak tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jager Dgak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kanegawa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jager Dgak swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kanegawa moves into the clinch. Jager Dgak prevents Kanegawa from breaking the clinch. Jager Dgak has Kanegawa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kanegawa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kanegawa wants to get back to striking at distance but Jager Dgak won't allow it.
Jager Dgak jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kanegawa walks away with a smile on his face. Jager Dgak gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kanegawa drives through and clinches with Jager Dgak against the cage.
Kanegawa working hard to break the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Kanegawa tightens his grip and picks Jager Dgak up, before dumping him to the ground. Jager Dgak manages to land in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kanegawa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jager Dgak swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kanegawa advances position into side control! Kanegawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jager Dgak keeps working. Kanegawa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jager Dgak, who protects the arm well. Kanegawa is trying to get an arm triangle but Jager Dgak is defending well. Kanegawa tries for a kimura but Jager Dgak is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kanegawa passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jager Dgak! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kanegawa has hold of Jager Dgak's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jager Dgak manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kanegawa scoring with strikes but Jager Dgak is staying in there. Kanegawa mounts Jager Dgak! Really nice guard pass there! Kanegawa fails to advance to Jager Dgak's back. Kanegawa goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jager Dgak turns into him and now he's in Kanegawa's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tsunemoto Kanegawa dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Jager Dgak throws a head kick that misses. Kanegawa thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jager Dgak if he has to take too many more of those.
Kanegawa gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kanegawa pulls guard. Kanegawa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jager Dgak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kanegawa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kanegawa looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kanegawa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jager Dgak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kanegawa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jager Dgak is not content to let Kanegawa control the position. Kanegawa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kanegawa is looking to take a break and control but Jager Dgak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jager Dgak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kanegawa on the ground. Kanegawa gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jager Dgak wants to clinch and Kanegawa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jager Dgak's guard now. Kanegawa passes Jager Dgak's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kanegawa trying to control the pace. Jager Dgak wants to improve his position but Kanegawa is controlling well.
Kanegawa is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kanegawa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jager Dgak tries to get to full guard but Kanegawa has control of the leg. Kanegawa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jager Dgak is just riding it out for now. Kanegawa eventually gives up the hold. Kanegawa thows a huge punch but Jager Dgak dodges it nicely.

Still in half guard, Kanegawa seems content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kanegawa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jager Dgak defends it well. Kanegawa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jager Dgak is not content to let Kanegawa control the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Tsunemoto Kanegawa just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice shot by Kanegawa. Kanegawa lands with a shot to the body. Kanegawa takes one on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tsunemoto Kanegawa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Jager Dgak misses with a takedown attempt - Kanegawa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kanegawa avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Kanegawa throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Kanegawa closes the distance and pushes Jager Dgak back into the cage. Kanegawa is trying to break the clinch but Jager Dgak has him pressed against the cage. A right hand to the body from Kanegawa.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jager Dgak prevents Kanegawa from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Kanegawa prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kanegawa pulls guard. Jager Dgak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kanegawa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jager Dgak has managed to get both his arms back between Kanegawa's legs - danger averted. Jager Dgak preventing the sweep. Kanegawa keeping full guard, as Jager Dgak tries to pass. Kanegawa is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jager Dgak is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kanegawa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kanegawa is on top in guard.
Jager Dgak keeping full guard, as Kanegawa tries to pass. Kanegawa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kanegawa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jager Dgak is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kanegawa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jager Dgak can't keep his opponent in guard - Kanegawa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kanegawa decides to return to a standing position. A nice leg kick lands there from Kanegawa. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kanegawa. Kanegawa trying to control the position but Jager Dgak is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. An elbow from Kanegawa crashes against the mat.
Kanegawa moves into full mount! Jager Dgak working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kanegawa with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kanegawa moves to the back position. I would not like to be Jager Dgak right now.
Kanegawa working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. A lull in the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Tsunemoto Kanegawa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kanegawa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
