The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLovin tries a head kick but it misses.
McLovin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rob McLovin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lin shoots in but McLovin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lin drops his hands momentarily and McLovin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nice sprawl there from McLovin as Lin shoots in.
McLovin connects with a crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McLovin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rob McLovin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phill Lin.
Lin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McLovin but McLovin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McLovin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lin looks gassed!

McLovin darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

McLovin lands a left and a right that send Lin crashing to the mat, dazed. McLovin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Phill Lin has been cut.
McLovin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McLovin lands a big head kick that sends Lin to the canvas! McLovin follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
