Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Bijanek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cro Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bijanek comes to the cage accompanied by Avenir Struga. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cro Cop tries to clinch but Bijanek is having none of it.

Bijanek darts in and clinches Cro Cop up against the cage.
Cro Cop tries to circle away but Bijanek has him pinned against the cage.
Cro Cop tries to break free but Bijanek pushes him back against the cage.

Bijanek tightens his grip and picks Cro Cop up, before dumping him to the ground. Cro Cop manages to land in guard.

and Bijanek counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bijanek is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bijanek goes for an armbar but Cro Cop turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cro Cop.

Cro Cop uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bijanek.

Bijanek goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cro Cop turns into him and now he's in Bijanek's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cro Cop wants to control from the top but Bijanek keeps moving.

Bijanek has control of Cro Cop's left arm, preventing Cro Cop from doing any damage.

Bijanek is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Cro Cop has managed to free his arm - good work.
Cro Cop pushes Bijanek off looking to stand but Bijanek dives back in and keeps control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bijanek accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cro Cop can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bijanek controls the pace.

Yuri Bijanek overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bijanek is taking a breather. Cro Cop says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Cro Cop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bijanek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
