Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Seymour Taps!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marlo Mouzone!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouzone lands a nice hook to Taps's body. Taps takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Taps fails to land the takedown.
Taps changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mouzone tries to avoid it but Taps manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mouzone to the ground. Mouzone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A lazy left from Mouzone finds it's target.
It looks like Seymour Taps has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mouzone cracks Taps with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mouzone has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Taps to stand back up!
Taps is rocked!
Mouzone fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Taps out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Marlo Mouzone!
