Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Bittbull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Chapman! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bittbull misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Chapman lands with a shot to the body. Chapman misses with a hook. Bittbull shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chapman pinned against the cage. Chapman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chapman scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Jose Bittbull has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chapman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bittbull. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Bittbull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chapman throws a jab when Bittbull was well out of range. Chapman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Chapman throws a jab when Bittbull was well out of range. Bittbull moves out of range as Chapman strikes. Chapman catches Bittbull napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Bittbull to the canvas!

Bittbull is rocked! Chapman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Oh Bittbull is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bittbull is breathing heavily. Chapman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bittbull seems to have got his legs back now. Chapman lands a couple of digs.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chapman distracts Bittbull with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Chapman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bittbull might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chapman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bittbull's head. Bittbull keeping full guard, as Chapman tries to pass. Chapman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chapman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Chapman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Chapman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bittbull wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Bittbull can't keep his opponent in guard - Chapman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Chapman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Chapman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bittbull blocking the ground and pound attempt from Chapman. Bittbull trying to hold on to Chapman's head to control him but Chapman postures up.
Chapman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Chapman working the head and body with strikes. Bittbull tries to roll over but Chapman keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chapman is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Bittbull trying to hold on to Chapman's head to control him but Chapman postures up.
Chapman misses with a head shot. Bittbull uses the momentum to regain guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bittbull is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chapman keeping moving, preventing Bittbull from controlling successfully. Chapman wants to sweep but no luck. Chapman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bittbull can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bittbull landing with the ground and pound. Bittbull in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chapman keeping moving, preventing Bittbull from controlling successfully. Bittbull throws a strike but Chapman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bittbull closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chapman circles away. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bittbull. Bittbull shoots in looking for a takedown. Chapman tries to sprawl out of it but Bittbull keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chapman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bittbull shoots for a takedown but Chapman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Bittbull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bittbull shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chapman pinned against the cage. Chapman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bittbull shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chapman as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chapman connects with a single shot there. Bittbull closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Chapman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chapman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chapman has his foot on Bittbull's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bittbull works his way back into a safe position though. Bittbull trying to control the position from guard on top but Chapman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bittbull is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chapman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Chapman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bittbull!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bittbull is bucking up trying to escape but Chapman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jose Bittbull's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jose Bittbull's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
