Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Greenberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Romeo Martin!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin moves into range and clinches up with Greenberg.
Martin is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Greenberg is keeping busy.
Martin is looking to break free of the clinch but Greenberg has double underhooks.

Martin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martin throws a head kick but Greenberg moves out of range.
Martin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Greenberg is able to avoid easily.
Martin looks to throw the jab but Greenberg is out of range.
Martin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Martin throws a sloppy head kick and Greenberg moves out of range easily.
Martin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Martin throws a right and a left that Greenberg avoids nicely.
Greenberg shoots in for a takedown but Martin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Greenberg's corner calls for a 1-2. Greenberg obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Greenberg shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Martin is trying to defend but Greenberg finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Martin wants to get back to full guard.

Martin is squirming around, avoiding Greenberg's attempts to control the action.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Martin manages to reverse the position and now he's in Greenberg's guard. Nice work there by Martin.

Martin stands and steps away. Greenberg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Greenberg moves out of range as Martin throws a body kick.

Greenberg feints and as Martin raises his hands in defense, Greenberg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Martin wants to improve his position but instead Greenberg has moved into half guard.
Greenberg prevents Martin from improving his position.
Martin pushes Greenberg off but Greenberg dives into side control.
Martin is not content to let Greenberg control the position.
Martin tries to control but Greenberg manages to take his back.

Greenberg is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Martin defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Greenberg is breathing heavily.
Martin just trying to survive but Greenberg is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Martin tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greenberg is going olschool here, as he tries to force Martin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Martin shrugs it off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Martin swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Martin tries to lock up and control but Greenberg gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Greenberg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martin pinned against the cage. Martin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Martin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Greenberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Martin.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greenberg looks for a takedown but Martin sprawls well.

Martin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Greenberg doesn't seem bothered though.

Greenberg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martin's waist but Martin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Greenberg off to one side.

Martin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Romeo Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Greenberg is trying to drag Martin to the mat but Martin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
