Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronnie Carlton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Chris Hidalgo! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.

A left lands for Hidalgo. Hidalgo works Carlton's body with a nice hook. Hidalgo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Carlton. Hidalgo misses with a few strikes there.
Hidalgo throws a series of punches but Carlton avoids them all with ease. Carlton throws a right hand that Hidalgo ducks under and follows up with a left that Hidalgo also avoids with ease. A right-left combo lands from Hidalgo. Chris Hidalgo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Left hook, right uppercut from Hidalgo. Hidalgo misses with a double jab
and Hidalgo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Carlton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hidalgo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Hidalgo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carlton manages to avoid it. Hidalgo misses with a double jab
and Carlton counters with a nice body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carlton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carlton cracks Hidalgo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Carlton closes the distance and clinches up with Hidalgo, looking for a takedown. Carlton pushes Hidalgo against the ropes but Hidalgo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Carlton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hidalgo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Carlton tests Hidalgo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hidalgo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Carlton counter with a right hand. Carlton dodges the punch combination from Hidalgo.
Carlton connects with a nice cross there... Hidalgo is looking wobbly and Carlton recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hidalgo to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Carlton jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
