Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Bowles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay Jay Kinrog! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowles ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kinrog moves away. Bowles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bowles lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bowles looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kinrog wants to clinch. Kinrog decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kinrog is thwarting Bowles's attempts to control the position. Kinrog is trying to work for a kimura but Bowles is defending well.

Bowles tries to roll over but Kinrog keeps him under control. Kinrog wants to work for an arm triangle but Bowles is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bowles circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bowles shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kinrog counters with an outside leg kick.

It looks like Jay Jay Kinrog has been cut. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kinrog. Kinrog looks gassed!

Kinrog moves in looking to clinch but Bowles pushes him off. Kinrog buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bowles shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bowles was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bowles controlling his opponent. Bowles trying to control but Kinrog is having none of it. That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bowles cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kinrog is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bowles controlling from the full mount.

Bowles is going olschool here, as he tries to force Kinrog to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kinrog shrugs it off. Kinrog is in all sorts of trouble here.

Both fighters circling a little - Bowles finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Bowles swats away the attempt to clinch by Kinrog. Bowles keeps the fight on the outside. That's one minute gone in the round. Bowles lands a hook that stumbles Kinrog back into the cage. Bowles follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Kinrog to the canvas! Bowles pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Kinrog has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
