Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerrard Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chruck Riddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerrard Brennan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chruck Riddel!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brennan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Riddel sprawls well. Riddel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brennan gets slowly back to his feet.
Chruck Riddel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riddel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Riddel is looking to clinch but Brennan is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brennan.
Riddel misses with a straight right.
Brennan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Riddel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Riddel scores with a jab.
Riddel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brennan manages to avoid it.
Riddel blocks a jab.
Riddel tries to clinch but Brennan is having none of it.
Riddel throws a left that rocks Brennan and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Riddel dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Brennan regain composure!
It looks like Gerrard Brennan has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brennan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Riddel wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Riddel decides to stand up, so the ref orders Brennan to his feet.
Brennan lands a head shot.
Riddel cracks Brennan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brennan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Riddel pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brennan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chruck Riddel!
