Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Good work by Matson as he checks the leg kick.
Gellar tried to score with a low kick but Matson checks it.
Ross Gellar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matson fails to land with a series of punches.
Matson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gellar tries to clinch there but Matson circles away.

Gellar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Matson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gellar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Matson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Gellar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gellar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Gellar throws and low kick but Matson moves out of range easily.
Matson swats away the attempt to clinch by Gellar.

Matson is looking to wear down Gellar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Matson misses the shot to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gellar. That's going to slow Matson down.
Matson throws a big shot that misses.
No joy there for Matson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Matson blocks a low kick nicely.

Matson throws a front kick aimed at Gellar's knee but Gellar avoids it well.
Matson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gellar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gellar looks gassed!
Gellar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Matson throws a combination. Gellar tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gellar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gellar is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gellar is still on wobbly legs! Can Matson finish him?
Matson throws a head kick but Gellar moves out of range.
Matson measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Gellar! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
