The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peaslee misses with a series of wild punches.
Cabbage tries to clinch there but Peaslee circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cabbage tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Peaslee's elbow.
Peaslee has a couple of punches blocked by Cabbage.
Peaslee tries to pull guard but Cabbage won't allow it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cabbage is on top in guard.

Peaslee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cabbage shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peaslee sprawls well. Peaslee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cabbage gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aubrey Peaslee will probably get the nod.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Peaslee using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cabbage has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cabbage is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Peaslee has denied him.

Poor strikes thrown by Peaslee there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Peaslee doesn't manage to clinch there - Cabbage circles away.
Cabbage is looking to clinch but Peaslee is avoiding it.

Cabbage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Peaslee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cabbage would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
