Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leroy has chosen renegade as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Harper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Leroy! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leroy shoots in for a double leg but Harper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Leroy shoots for a double leg takedown but Harper sprawls well. He's pushed Leroy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Harper drives through with a takedown into guard. Leroy trying to keep a closed guard but Harper is proving a slippery customer.
Harper slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Harper has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Leroy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Leroy keeping moving, preventing Harper from controlling successfully. Harper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leroy on the ground. Leroy working for a triangle but Harper defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harper makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Leroy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Leroy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Harper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harper thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Harper is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leroy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Harper wants to control from the top but Leroy keeps moving. Leroy has his foot on Harper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harper works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Harper throwing strikes but missing. Harper slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Harper trying to control but Leroy is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leroy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harper has managed to get both his arms back between Leroy's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Leroy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. Leroy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Harper should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Leroy has tightened it up now! Harper should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
