Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Osama Bin Laden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomato Can (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Osama Bin Laden!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tomato Can!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Can stuffs the takedown.
Can blocks a head kick by Bin Laden.

Can shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Can was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Can gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bin Laden regains guard.
Can is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Can pushing down on Bin Laden's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Can's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Can tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bin Laden knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Can slips a nice elbow through Bin Laden's hands, connecting with Bin Laden's forehead.

Can holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bin Laden tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Can is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Bin Laden wants to finish this one by submission but Can is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bin Laden.

Can manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Can working for a triangle but Bin Laden defends it easily.
Bin Laden tries to stand but Can is controlling from the bottom.
Can manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Let's hope that Can has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bin Laden takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Can instigates a clinch.
Can has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Can gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bin Laden regains guard.
Can passes Bin Laden's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bin Laden is looking to escape.
Tomato Can has got the better of the ground game so far.
Can works his foot free and advances to mount.
Bin Laden swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Can tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Bin Laden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Can gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Can looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bin Laden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Can is taking a breather. Bin Laden says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Can wants to clinch up but Bin Laden keeps it at a distance.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Bin Laden closes the distance but Can moves to the side

and Can counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Can.
Can drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bin Laden pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bin Laden avoids the body shot from Can.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A clash of legs there as Bin Laden blocks the low kick.
Can bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
