Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Walkerton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinicio Bronkano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronkano is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pregador luo Bate pesado. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Walkerton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicio Bronkano!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronkano wants to clinch up but Walkerton keeps it at a distance.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Bronkano.
Bronkano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walkerton but Walkerton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Walkerton feints and as Bronkano raises his hands in defense, Walkerton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Walkerton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bronkano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walkerton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bronkano's guard.
Bronkano wants to get back to full guard but Walkerton has passed into side control.
Walkerton working for a submission but Bronkano is keeping him at bay.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walkerton swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bronkano is now in Walkerton's guard. A big mistake from Walkerton there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walkerton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bronkano wants to get back to full guard but Walkerton has passed into side control.
Bronkano is controlling an arm, preventing Walkerton from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Walkerton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Walkerton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Walkerton fails to move to back control.
Walkerton takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Walkerton working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Bronkano is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Walkerton has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Bronkano taps out!
