Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blackjack Mulligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mulligan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Superstition kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blackjack Mulligan! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Mulligan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mulligan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard. Mulligan tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard. Mulligan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mulligan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mulligan throwing strikes but missing. Mulligan trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mulligan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mulligan is one step ahead there. Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mulligan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mulligan throwing strikes from guard but Jackson blocks nicely.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jackson tries to reverse the position but Mulligan maintains control. The referee warns Jackson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mulligan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mulligan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mulligan breaks from Jackson's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mulligan connects with a decent elbow. Mulligan stands up and beckons Jackson to his feet. Mulligan scores a takedown into full mount!
