Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Barbossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Tupper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Charles Tupper enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Barbossa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Tupper! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barbossa drives through with a takedown into guard. Barbossa wants to control from the top but Tupper keeps moving. Tupper wants to stand up but Barbossa is controlling him. Barbossa is stalling in the full guard. Barbossa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Barbossa trying to control but Tupper is working from the bottom. Barbossa trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Barbossa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tupper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barbossa paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tupper throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper drops Barbossa with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Barbossa looks back up at him and smiles so Tupper waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Anthony Barbossa has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barbossa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tupper sprawls well. Tupper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barbossa gets slowly back to his feet. Barbossa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tupper! Tupper avoids a series of strikes thrown by Barbossa.
Tupper is trying to stand. Barbossa content just to control the position here. You get the feeling that Tupper really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tupper is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Barbossa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tupper manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tupper pushes Barbossa away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Barbossa gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Barbossa tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Tupper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barbossa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Barbossa has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tupper is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Barbossa yanks on the arm and Tupper is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Barbossa.
