Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yamcha Susanoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and shano dizi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamcha Susanoo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yamcha Susanoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dizi blocks the body kick.
dizi moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Susanoo missing with a left hand there. dizi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
dizi fails with an attempt to clinch.
dizi tries to clinch but Susanoo moves out of range.
dizi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Susanoo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
dizi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Susanoo.
dizi shoots in and drives through. Susanoo sprawls well.

Susanoo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Susanoo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Susanoo manages to break the clinch.
Susanoo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps dizi's head backwards.
dizi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Susanoo finds it's way round the side to connect with dizi's head.
Susanoo tries a head kick but it misses.
Susanoo lands with a cross.
Susanoo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Good leg kick by Susanoo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
dizi thows a body shot but no joy.
dizi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Susanoo can pounce on him.
dizi looks gassed!

Susanoo throws a series of punches but dizi moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Susanoo.

Susanoo closes the distance and clinches.
Susanoo stops a takedown attempt from dizi.
Yamcha Susanoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of shano dizi.

Susanoo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but dizi has him pressed against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Susanoo has dizi pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Susanoo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending dizi tumbling to the mat - Susanoo dives into dizi's guard.
dizi throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Susanoo has control of dizi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and dizi regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Susanoo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now dizi is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Susanoo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. dizi manages to get himself to full guard.

Susanoo stands and throws dizi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Susanoo wants to control for a moment but dizi uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Susanoo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Susanoo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for dizi!

Susanoo looking for a guillotine from mount but dizi is having none of it.

Susanoo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
dizi tries to reverse the position but Susanoo maintains control.

Susanoo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… dizi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by dizi and Susanoo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

dizi is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
dizi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Susanoo is controlling him well.

Susanoo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but dizi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
dizi is trying to buck Susanoo off.
Susanoo trying to control the action but dizi is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Susanoo misses the body punch
and dizi counters with a good, hard body kick but Susanoo shrugs it off.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
dizi shoots and misses
and Susanoo counters with a left and a right that stings dizi.
dizi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from dizi there as he acknowledges the shot.
dizi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
dizi moves in looking to clinch but Susanoo pushes him off.

dizi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

dizi decides to stand back up. dizi steps back and let's Susanoo get back to his feet.
Susanoo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Susanoo lands with a nice body punch.

Susanoo rushes dizi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
dizi lands an elbow inside that Susanoo shrugs off.

It looks like Yamcha Susanoo has been cut.
Susanoo looking to throw knees to the head but dizi is blocking nicely.

Susanoo breaks the clinch.
Susanoo throws an off balance right hand

and dizi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Susanoo looking to slow down the pace here.

dizi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Susanoo swats away the attempt to clinch by dizi.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
dizi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Susanoo throws out a loose jab but dizi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Yamcha Susanoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Susanoo misses the jab.
dizi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yamcha Susanoo will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Susanoo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and dizi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
dizi misses with a takedown

so Susanoo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Susanoo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Susanoo drops back, looking for a kneebar! dizi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. dizi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from dizi!
Susanoo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Susanoo regains full guard. Nicely done.

Susanoo is looking to sinch up a triangle. dizi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Susanoo's body to avoid the submission. Susanoo has instead reached around dizi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Susanoo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
