Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vin Seppala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Karaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vin Seppala! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Karaev! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seppala tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Karaev closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Karaev lands in his opponent's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Karaev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seppala swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Karaev trying to control but Seppala is working from the bottom. Seppala had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Karaev is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Seppala Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Karaev's back instead. Seppala is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Karaev breaks Seppala's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seppala is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Seppala leaning against his opponent.
Seppala jumps into guard, dragging Karaev to the mat.
Karaev wants to control from the top but Seppala keeps moving. Karaev passes easily into side control. Nice work. Seppala is looking to reverse the position. Seppala is pushing Karaev's head away, looking to escape. Karaev manages to hold on to the position though. Karaev looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karaev scoring with punches from side control. Seppala is not content to let Karaev control the position. Seppala is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Karaev is trying to control the action in half guard but Seppala is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Karaev looks to land a strike but Seppala avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Karaev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Seppala's head. Seppala is trying to control the position but Karaev postures up. Karaev stopping the sweep attempt from Seppala. Seppala is working hard here to advance position. Seppala is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karaev slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Karaev wants to control from the top but Seppala keeps moving. Seppala is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Seppala prevents Karaev from improving his position. Seppala decides to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seppala shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Karaev counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Seppala not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Karaev is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Karaev postures up.
Karaev drops back looking for a leg! Seppala is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Seppala manages to kick Karaev off! Karaev jumps back into Seppala's guard. Karaev won't allow Seppala to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergei Karaev dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Karaev has his takedown stuffed and Seppala counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Seppala. Seppala stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karaev swivels though and keeps the full guard. Karaev throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Karaev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Seppala stays in close to Karaev's body and controls the position. Seppala trying to stand up but can't free himself from Karaev's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Seppala wants to control from the top but Karaev keeps moving. Seppala gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Karaev fails with the takedown and Seppala counters with a single leg into guard. Karaev didn't expect that. Seppala controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Seppala trying to control the position from guard on top but Karaev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karaev looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Karaev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Seppala has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Karaev is proving hard to escape from. Karaev is looking for a triangle but Seppala pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Karaev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Seppala trying to control but Karaev is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seppala got a little sloppy there for a moment and Karaev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Seppala has managed to get both his arms back between Karaev's legs - danger averted. Seppala avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Karaev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Seppala controls the pace. Seppala trying to control but Karaev is working from the bottom. Karaev is looking for a triangle but Seppala pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karaev not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Seppala loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Karaev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seppala is aware though and is defending well. Seppala gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Seppala clinches up with Karaev and pushes him back against the cage. Seppala looking for a takedown. Karaev fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vin Seppala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Karaev. Karaev wants a takedown but no success here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Seppala tightens his grip and picks Karaev up, before dumping him to the ground. Karaev manages to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Karaev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Seppala can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Seppala has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Karaev throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

A close second round but Sergei Karaev will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Karaev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Seppala is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karaev wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Seppala, who protects the arm well. Seppala is trying to get back to half guard. Seppala is trying to control Karaev's posture but Karaev avoids it. You can see the frustration on Seppala's face as Karaev controls the position. Sergei Karaev has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seppala wants to control but Karaev postures up. Karaev thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Seppala struggling a bit here. Seppala is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Karaev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Seppala keeps working. Karaev is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Seppala looks calm but he's in trouble here. Karaev gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Seppala is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Karaev lets go of the hold and Seppala can pop his arm back in it's socket.
