The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Samsonov tries to keep at a distance but Kellman has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kellman tries to pull guard but Samsonov won't allow it.

Samsonov breaks the clinch.

Kellman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Samsonov tries to roll over but Kellman keeps him under control.
Samsonov wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kellman content to control rather than advance.
Samsonov tries to kick Kellman off but Kellman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kellman is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Kellman decides to stand and escape the position.
Samsonov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Samsonov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kellman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Kellman or perhaps it was just good defense by Samsonov which made him look bad.
Igor Samsonov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Kellman.
Samsonov scores with a hook.

Kellman is rocked!
Samsonov lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Kellman falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
