Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jon Hallquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Torres as Hallquist shoots in.
Hallquist tries to clinch there but Torres circles away.
Torres gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hallquist counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Torres trying to keep a closed guard but Hallquist is proving a slippery customer.
Hallquist trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hallquist postures up.
Hallquist postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hallquist postures up in Torres's guard and throws a big left but Torres blocks it.
Hallquist gets to his feet - Torres follows without any prompting.
Hallquist ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Torres moves away.
Hallquist tries for a takedown but Torres sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Torres wants to clinch.
Hallquist shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hallquist showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hallquist is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Hallquist uses his free foot to push down on Torres's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Torres.
Torres is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hallquist pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
A nice elbow there by Hallquist.
Torres has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Hallquist is cranking Torres's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Torres! He's tightened the choke and Torres is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jon Hallquist!
