The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nirvana throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nirvana looks to score with a jab to the body but Botje is just out of range.

Nirvana throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Botje was covering up waiting for the punch and Nirvana finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Botje had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nirvana is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Botje Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nirvana's back instead.

Botje is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Nirvana knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Nirvana for a finish.

Botje has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nirvana finds it's way round the side to connect with Botje's head.
