Wildman has chosen Kanye West - Amazing as his entrance music. Tanner Provinzano has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Provinzano throws a right hand that Wildman ducks under and follows up with a left that Wildman also avoids with ease.
Provinzano throws a low kick but Wildman avoids it.
Provinzano tries to clinch but Wildman moves out of range.
Tanner Provinzano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wildman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Provinzano looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Provinzano is not content to let Wildman control the position.
Provinzano takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Wildman postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wildman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Wildman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Provinzano is looking to escape.
Wildman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Provinzano can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Provinzano tries to lock up and control but Wildman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wildman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Provinzano kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A frustrated look appears on Wildman's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Wildman is trying to trip Provinzano. He has hold of a leg but Provinzano is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wildman persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wildman looking to sit in guard and control but Provinzano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Wildman has his feet on Provinzano's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Provinzano regains half guard there - taking advantage of Wildman's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Provinzano has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wildman is working away from the top position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
No luck for Wildman with that takedown attempt.

Wildman tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wildman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Provinzano on the side of the head.

Wildman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Provinzano shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Wildman counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wildman passes Provinzano's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Provinzano pushes Wildman off looking to stand but Wildman dives back in and keeps control.
Wildman moves nicely into side control.
Wildman grinds an elbow into Provinzano's temple.
Wildman is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Wildman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Provinzano down.

Provinzano is looking for a sweep. Wildman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Wildman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Wildman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Provinzano defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Provinzano working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wildman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wildman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wildman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wildman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Wildman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Provinzano swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
