The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liddel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Liddel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aszkickery doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Liddel.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Liddel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Liddel sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Liddel slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Liddel had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Aszkickery is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Liddel Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Aszkickery's back instead.

Liddel is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Aszkickery won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Liddel off his unconscious opponent!
