Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Eerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panjapol Kempe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panjapol Kempe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bas Eerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Panjapol Kempe! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Eerts. Kempe forces Eerts back against the cage and clinches. Eerts tries to pull guard but Kempe won't allow it.
Eerts is pressed up against the cage. Kempe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Eerts down to the mat. Eerts avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Eerts scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Panjapol Kempe has been cut. Eerts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kempe moves away. Eerts looks to land a combination but Kempe avoids it well. Kempe takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Eerts waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Kempe. Kempe doesn't manage to clinch there - Eerts circles away.
Jab from Eerts. Eerts moves in looking to clinch but Kempe pushes him off. Nice defenses there by Kempe. Kempe tries a head kick but it misses.
Eerts stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kempe. Kempe looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Eerts is breathing heavily. Kempe is looking to stand up but Eerts won't let him. Eerts tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kempe postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kempe wanted to stand there but Eerts had control of the position. Eerts has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Eerts bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kempe's guard. Eerts stops Kempe from standing up. Eerts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Eerts stands up and waves to Kempe to follow him. Kempe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Eerts sprawls well. Eerts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kempe gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eerts moves into the clinch. Kempe doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kempe manages to break the clinch.
Eerts defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kempe. Bas Eerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Panjapol Kempe. Kempe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Eerts closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kempe to the mat! Kempe manages to get full guard. Eerts postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kempe is looking to stand up but Eerts isn't so interested in that idea. Eerts with a nice head shot there. Kempe pushes Eerts off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kempe throws a combination that misses and Eerts counters with a single leg into guard. Kempe didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kempe wants to stand but Eerts is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kempe is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Kempe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Eerts postures up in Kempe's guard and throws a big left but Kempe blocks it. Eerts trying to control but Kempe is working from the bottom. Eerts tries to stand but Kempe is controlling from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kempe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Eerts wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eerts trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Kempe has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kempe throws a right and a left that Eerts avoids nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Eerts. Eerts keeps the fight on the outside. Kempe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Eerts thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Eerts wants to get back to his feet but Kempe is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kempe tries to stand but Eerts is controlling from the bottom. Kempe stops Eerts from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bas Eerts dominated that round. The cut man is working on Panjapol Kempe's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Eerts takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kempe fails with a takedown attempt. Eerts tries to clinch there but Kempe circles away.
Eerts scores with the left hand. Kempe knows he should have avoided that one.
That has opened up Panjapol Kempe's cut even more. Kempe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Eerts pushes Kempe up against the cage in a clinch. Kempe is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Kempe gets through Eerts's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Eerts gets control of Kempe's arms and successfully pulls guard. Eerts will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Eerts is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kempe is controlling him. Kempe decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Eerts, up you get! Eerts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kempe tries to clinch and Eerts decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kempe's guard. Kempe wants to stand and escape but Eerts is having none of it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kempe can do anything to dispel that myth. Eerts gets to his feet - Kempe follows without any prompting. Kempe thows a body shot but no joy. Kempe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eerts swats him away and circles back towards the center. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Eerts here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Eerts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Eerts wants it to stay on the feet. Eerts shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kempe as he avoids it easily. Kempe takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kempe tries to clinch but Eerts moves out of range. Kempe misses with an attempted mid kick.
Eerts moves into the clinch. Kempe manages to break the clinch.
Eerts lands a jab to the nose.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eerts tries to clinch but Kempe is having none of it. Kempe throws a lazy head kick and Kempe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bas Eerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Kempe. Eerts misses with a looping right. Bas Eerts is winning the standup battle so far. Kempe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kempe showed some decent athleticism there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kempe decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Kempe wants to clinch. Bas Eerts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Eerts throws a head kick that misses so Kempe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Eerts is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Eerts is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kempe defends well. Kempe postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kempe is working Eerts over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kempe wanted to stand there but Eerts had control of the position. Eerts wants to sweep here but Kempe controlling him for the moment. Eerts kicks Kempe off and gets to his feet. Kempe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eerts swivels and escapes. Bas Eerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Panjapol Kempe. Eerts wants to clinch. Eerts moves out of range of the body kick from Kempe.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Eerts fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kempe checks it well. Kempe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Eerts was covering up waiting for the punch and Kempe finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kempe gets to his feet. Eerts looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kempe darts in trying to clinch and Eerts counters with a straight right hand. No luck for Eerts with that takedown attempt. A combination from Kempe does no damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kempe looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Eerts scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Panjapol Kempe will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Panjapol Kempe's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Kempe moves into range and clinches up with Eerts. Kempe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eerts doesn't manage to clinch there - Kempe circles away.
Eerts gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kempe. Kempe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Eerts was covering up waiting for the punch and Kempe finishes the takedown easily into guard. Eerts wriggles free and stands up. Kempe tries to close the distance and clinch but Eerts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Good leg kick by Kempe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Eerts misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Eerts misses with a low kick. Kempe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Eerts manages to avoid it. Eerts misses with an uppercut. Eerts drives through and clinches with Kempe against the cage.
Kempe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Eerts throws a combination that misses and Kempe counters with a single leg into guard. Eerts didn't expect that. Eerts manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kempe manages to get himself to full guard.
Kempe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Eerts is controlling him. Eerts loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kempe wants to stand up but Eerts is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eerts drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Eerts seems to have locked his on tight now - Kempe screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Eerts, as he picks up the win!
