Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valdemar RataJylppynen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn . Valdemar RataJylppynen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel slips under a jab from RataJylppynen.
RataJylppynen misses with a double jab.
RataJylppynen rushes Steel and presses him up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for RataJylppynen.
RataJylppynen keeps control of Steel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A short right hand to the side of the head by RataJylppynen.
Steel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. RataJylppynen smiles and moves away.
Steel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches RataJylppynen on the side of the head.
RataJylppynen tries to clinch but Steel moves out of range.
RataJylppynen tries to clinch up but Steel circles away and keeps his distance.
RataJylppynen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Steel.
RataJylppynen loses concentration momentarily and Steel pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! RataJylppynen crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Steel finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cory Steel!
