Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pietersen slips a straight right by Doo.
Doo shoots in looking for a takedown. Pietersen tries to sprawl out of it but Doo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pietersen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kevin Pietersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pietersen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Pietersen pushes Doo up against the cage in a clinch.

Doo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pietersen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Doo has Pietersen in his guard.

Doo is trying to control Pietersen's posture but Pietersen avoids it.
Doo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pietersen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Pietersen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Doo is now in Pietersen's guard. A big mistake from Pietersen there, giving up the dominant position!

Doo throws and elbow that misses. Pietersen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Doo's guard. Nice move by Pietersen!

Doo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pietersen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pietersen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pietersen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Pietersen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Doo, up you get!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pietersen drives through and clinches with Doo against the cage.

Pietersen struggles to land a body shot inside as Doo controls his hands.
Pietersen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Doo just stands there and leans against the cage.

Pietersen has picked Doo up - he's going for a ride! Pietersen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Pietersen uses his free foot to push down on Doo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Doo.

Pietersen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Doo turns into him and now he's in Pietersen's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hoo Doo dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Pietersen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Doo as he avoids it easily.

Pietersen tries to close the distance and clinch but Doo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Doo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

enabling Doo to counter with a crisp jab.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pietersen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Doo sprawls well initially but Pietersen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Doo is trying to control but can't.

Pietersen is stalling here. Doo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pietersen seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Doo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Pietersen is looking for a sweep.
Pietersen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Pietersen is not content to let Doo control the position.
Doo working the ground and pound but Pietersen is defending the strikes.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Doo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pietersen has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Doo but great work by Pietersen.
Pietersen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pietersen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pietersen is looking to take a break and control but Doo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight!
