Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drake Retso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Faustino Ronan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Faustino Ronan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Faustino Ronan!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Retso waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Ronan.
Ronan throws a nice looking combination but Retso bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Retso looks for a takedown but Ronan sprawls well.

Ronan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Retso won't allow Ronan to sweep him here.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Retso thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ronan's head.
Retso moves into full mount! Ronan won't be happy about that!

Retso breaks from Ronan's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Ronan is rocked!
Retso loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ronan scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Retso land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Retso stands and salutes the crowd.
