Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Defoe White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes into the arena with Jesus Walks blaring out of the sound system. Defoe White will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Ortiz!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Defoe White!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz looks to score with a jab to the body but White is just out of range.
White tests Ortiz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ortiz checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ortiz tries a head kick but it misses.
Ortiz looks to land a body kick but White moved away.
Ortiz misses with a body kick.
White tries for a takedown but Ortiz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
White scores with a body shot.
The fighters circling - Ortiz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ortiz looks to land a left hand but White moved out of range nicely.
Defoe White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ortiz lands a jab to White's midsection.
White scores with a jab to the jaw.
White looks to land a combination but Ortiz avoids it well.

Ortiz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
White tries to clinch up.
White displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ortiz throws out the jab.
Ortiz misses with a leg kick.
White lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
White avoids the head kick by Ortiz.
Ortiz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it.
Ortiz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
White connects with a solid leg kick.

Ortiz stuffs the takedown attempt from White. White gets slowly back to his feet.
Ortiz throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
White throws a series of punches but Ortiz avoids them all with ease.
White fails in his attempt to clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Ortiz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
White shoots in looking for a takedown. Ortiz tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ortiz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ben Ortiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Defoe White.
White misses with a few strikes there.
Ortiz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ortiz wants it to stay on the feet.

White tries to clinch but Ortiz moves out of range.
Ortiz is looking to land body kicks.
White avoids the head kick by Ortiz.
Ortiz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ortiz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
White is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ortiz waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract White.
Ortiz fakes a jab and throws a low kick but White checks it well.
White tries to clinch there but Ortiz circles away.
Ortiz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ortiz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
White tries to clinch up but Ortiz circles away and keeps his distance.
White works the jab nicely.
White wants to clinch up but Ortiz keeps it at a distance.
White closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

White seems to be working for a kimura but Ortiz defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Defoe White dominated that round.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from White.
Ortiz gets caught flat footed, as White shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
White thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ortiz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ortiz keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully.

White prevents Ortiz from getting back to his feet.
White has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ortiz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! White is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ortiz pulls down on the head and he's put White to sleep! This one is all over!
