Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Block Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samko Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes into the arena with Slayer - Raining Blood blaring out of the sound system. Kahric has chosen BHF as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahric closes this distance looking for a takedown but Liddell circles away.

Samko Kahric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Liddell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Liddell looks like he's trying to stand up.

Liddell is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Kahric off. It looks like it's working - Kahric slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Liddell displaying calm under pressure there.

Liddell has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Liddell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kahric has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kahric and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
