Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mezza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kennedy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown by Kennedy or perhaps it was just good defense by Mezza which made him look bad.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kennedy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
