Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Radivostok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rik Eerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gregory Radivostok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rik Eerts!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eerts shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eerts shoots for a double leg takedown but Radivostok sprawls well. He's pushed Eerts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Radivostok stuffs the takedown attempt from Eerts. Eerts gets slowly back to his feet.
Gregory Radivostok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rik Eerts.
Eerts takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Radivostok is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Eerts's half guard.
Radivostok thows a huge punch but Eerts dodges it nicely.
Eerts looks gassed!
Well, if Radivostok is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Eerts trying to control but Radivostok postures up.

Radivostok is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Radivostok is trying to work for a kimura but Eerts is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Radivostok thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Radivostok not doing much here.
Radivostok is trying to control. Eerts wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Radivostok tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Radivostok content to control rather than advance.
Radivostok is trying to control the action in half guard but Eerts is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Radivostok is really struggling to control Eerts but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Eerts with a poor takedown

and Radivostok counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Radivostok pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eerts is keeping the position for now.
Eerts looking to hit a scissor sweep but Radivostok is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gregory Radivostok dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Radivostok shoots in but no luck this time.
Eerts tries for a takedown but Radivostok circles away easily

and Radivostok counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Radivostok drags the fight down to the ground.
Radivostok wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Radivostok controls Eerts momentarily but Eerts frees himself.
Radivostok is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Radivostok is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Eerts trying to control but Radivostok is working from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Radivostok manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Eerts manages to get himself to full guard.
Radivostok advances to half guard.
Radivostok is trying to control. Eerts wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Eerts is trying to control but can't.
Eerts is looking for a sweep. Radivostok is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Radivostok wants to control but Eerts is keeping him busy.
Radivostok tries to pass to full mount but Eerts defends it.
Eerts tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Radivostok wants to stand up but Eerts is controlling the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

enabling Radivostok to counter with a crisp jab.

Eerts misses with a takedown

and Radivostok counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Radivostok.
Gregory Radivostok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rik Eerts.

Eerts looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Radivostok is defending well. Eerts quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Radivostok has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Eerts celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
