Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between jabar omer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mark macintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
macintosh tries to clinch up.
macintosh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A nice combination there by omer.
It looks like mark macintosh has been cut.
omer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
macintosh avoiding damage under a succession of punches from omer.
macintosh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
macintosh on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

omer decides to stand back up. omer steps back and let's macintosh get back to his feet.
omer shoots in looking for a takedown. macintosh tries to sprawl out of it but omer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. macintosh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

omer tries to close the distance and clinch up but macintosh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - macintosh has eaten all the pies!
omer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by macintosh.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
macintosh fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt omer.

macintosh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

macintosh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. omer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and omer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in macintosh's guard now.
macintosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

omer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on macintosh, up you get!

macintosh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says omer as he avoids it easily.
jabar omer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mark macintosh.
Nice takedown defense from macintosh. No joy for omer on that attempt.
omer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but macintosh avoids it really well and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

omer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
macintosh moves in looking to clinch but omer pushes him off.
omer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
macintosh gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and omer counters with a left and a right that stings macintosh.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to jabar omer.
I think omer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
