PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricky James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and lay npraysix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ricky James has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ricky James seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
npraysix slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but npraysix swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James fails in his attempt to clinch.

npraysix walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. James checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up but npraysix swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James moves in looking to clinch but npraysix pushes him off.
James displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as npraysix throws out the jab.
Ricky James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. npraysix tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag npraysix to the ground. npraysix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in npraysix's half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

James is keen to just control but npraysix is a slippery customer.

James can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as npraysix controls the pace.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

James is looking to stand up but npraysix isn't so interested in that idea.

npraysix must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well npraysix has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
