Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos tries to clinch but Lesnar moves out of range.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lesnar feints and as Santos raises his hands in defense, Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Santos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lesnar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lesnar paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lesnar has hold of Santos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Santos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lesnar swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Santos is now in Lesnar's guard. A big mistake from Lesnar there, giving up the dominant position!

Santos digs a right hand underneath Lesnar's ribcage. Lesnar let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Santos breaks the clinch.

Santos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Santos lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Santos lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Santos lands a big right hand that drops Lesnar! The killer instinct kicks in and Santos finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Santos!
