Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daved Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Growl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sims comes into the arena with I'm going to get you blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Daved Sims has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Daved Sims seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sims.
Growl manages to get back to half guard.
Sims missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Sims is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Growl sees it coming and defends easily.
Sims is breathing heavily.
Sims throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Growl kicks off Sims and gets to his feet.
Growl lunges at Sims with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sims's hand.

Growl scores with a takedown into Sims's guard.
Growl pushes down on Sims's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Growl is taking a breather. Sims says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Growl landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Growl slows the pace down in half guard.
Sims has hold of Growl's hands but Growl slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Growl passes to full mount!

Growl pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Growl loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sims scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Growl land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Growl stands and salutes the crowd.
