Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Albert Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse The Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Albert Fish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jesse The Devil! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The Devil shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. The Devil is looking to clinch but Fish is avoiding it.
The Devil darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The Devil is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The Devil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fish keeps working. The Devil thows a huge punch but Fish dodges it nicely.
The Devil wants to work for an arm triangle but Fish is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The Devil not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Devil wants to control but Fish is keeping him busy. The Devil is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Fish has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Devil stops Fish from getting back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The Devil ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fish moves away. The Devil tries to clinch but Fish is having none of it. Fish lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The Devil is looking to clinch but Fish is avoiding it.
The Devil throws a shot to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Fish. The Devil throws a hook to the side of Fish's head but Fish sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Albert Fish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The Devil shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The Devil thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Fish to regain full guard. The Devil postures up in Fish's guard and throws a big left but Fish blocks it. The Devil drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fish dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fish tries to free his leg and advance position but The Devil is retaining full guard. Fish trying to control the position from guard on top but The Devil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The Devil is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The Devil working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fish has passed into half guard!

The Devil has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The Devil is trying to get back to full guard. Fish controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fish seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The Devil tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The Devil looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The Devil throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fish makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fish avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The Devil is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fish is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fish has escaped and now he's on top! Fish pushing down on The Devil's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The Devil looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fish wants to stand up but The Devil has a hold of him and won't allow it. The Devil is looking for a sweep. Fish is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Albert Fish dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The Devil ducks right into an uppercut from Fish. The Devil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fish but Fish pushes him off and we're back to square one. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fish.
Jesse The Devil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Devil is looking to clinch but Fish is avoiding it.
Fish connects with the punch. The Devil is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fish sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The Devil shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fish pinned against the cage. Fish gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Albert Fish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse The Devil. The Devil shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fish lands a right hook to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Fish. Fish scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fish with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fish connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fish scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Fish smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Fish connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between The Devil's hands. Albert Fish is winning the standup battle so far. Fish moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The Devil keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fish. The fight stays on the outside here - The Devil looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fish keeps the fight on the outside. The Devil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fish swats him away and circles back towards the center. The Devil finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The Devil avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fish lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The Devil throws a leg kick and Fish counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The Devil looks to clinch and Fish counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fish fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Fish dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fish throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The Devil lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fish throws out a loose jab but The Devil uses good head movement to avoid it. The Devil uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fish. The Devil tries to clinch and Fish counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fish misses with a wild body shot. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as The Devil checks a leg kick. The Devil checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Fish throws the left hand but The Devil avoids the punch easily. Nice defenses there by The Devil. Fish scores with a jab to the head.

The Devil closes the distance looking to clinch and Fish counters with a straight right hand. The Devil with a poor takedown and Fish counters with a lovely straight right hand! The Devil looks to clinch and Fish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Good leg kick by Fish there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fish throws a push kick but The Devil slaps the foot to one side. The Devil throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fish's waist but Fish gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Devil off to one side. Fish scores with a jab. Fish throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent The Devil stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fish fails to land with a series of punches.
Fish cracks The Devil with a right hand to the side of the head. The Devil closes the distance but Fish moves to the side and Fish counters with a nice uppercut. Fish bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The Devil has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Devil tries to clinch but Fish moves away and Fish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fish throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Fish misses with a looping left. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fish circles away from the clinch attempt and Fish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The Devil gets a takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Devil checks the leg kick nicely there.
The Devil uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fish. Fish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Devil manages to avoid it. The Devil forces Fish back against the cage and clinches.

Fish breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The Devil wants to clinch enabling Fish to counter with a crisp jab. The Devil looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The Devil tries to clinch but fails miserably and The Devil takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fish misses with a hook. The Devil tries to clinch up and Fish counters with a nice uppercut. The Devil moves into range and clinches up with Fish. Stalling in the clinch from The Devil.

Fish pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The Devil tries to clinch and Fish counters with a low kick, right behind The Devil 's knee. Albert Fish is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Devil closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Fish tried to score with a low kick but The Devil checks it. Fish cracks The Devil with a good jab. Fish lands a jab to the nose. Fish connects with a good right hand that stumbles The Devil. The Devil circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Fish lands a glancing blow to the side of The Devil's head. The Devil darts in trying to clinch and Fish counters with a series of strikes. The Devil will be more careful next time no doubt. Albert Fish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse The Devil. Fish lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Fish throws a good cross that connects.
The Devil tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Fish cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fish scores with a jab. The Devil wants to clinch and Fish counters with a nice uppercut. The Devil clinches but Fish breaks the clinch and Fish counters with a nice uppercut. Fish circles away from the clinch attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. The Devil tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Fish counters with a straight right hand. Jesse The Devil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fish throws out a loose jab but The Devil uses good head movement to avoid it. The Devil takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fish throws a combination but it was largely blocked by The Devil. Fish stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fish wants it to stay on the feet. Fish throws an overhand right that lands on The Devil's shoulder, as The Devil tries to avoid the shot. The Devil steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fish. That one must have hurt.
And that's the end of the fight! Albert Fish showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fish, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
