The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jenkins wants it to stay on the feet.

Ribeiro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ribeiro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jenkins is just riding it out for now. Ribeiro eventually gives up the hold.

Jenkins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ribeiro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jenkins wants to control but Ribeiro postures up.

Ribeiro is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jenkins looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ribeiro gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jenkins is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ribeiro lets go of the hold and Jenkins can pop his arm back in it's socket.
