Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Pritchett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pritchett comes to the cage accompanied by Protect your neck. Chris Pritchett has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Pritchett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Hardy! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hardy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Chris Pritchett has been cut. Pritchett throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hardy was covering up waiting for the punch and Pritchett finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pritchett throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hardy is trying to control the position but Pritchett postures up. Hardy is looking to stand up but Pritchett isn't so interested in that idea. Hardy pulls Pritchett in close to prevent any damage. Hardy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pritchett drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pritchett jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pritchett is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hardy tries for a takedown but Pritchett circles away easily and Pritchett counters with a nice leg kick. Hardy tries to close the distance and clinch but Pritchett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hardy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Hardy doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pritchett counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Chris Pritchett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Hardy. Pritchett pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy with a lazy takedown attempt so Pritchett counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hardy working a defensive guard but Pritchett passes into half guard.
Pritchett trying to mount his opponent but Hardy defends it. The fighters are battling for position here. Hardy manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Pritchett is breathing heavily. Hardy wants to hit a switch here but Pritchett passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hardy there! Hardy wants to hold on but Pritchett pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pritchett working for a guillotine from mount but Hardy is in no mood to give up. Pritchett prevents Hardy from getting the reversal. Hardy tries to lock up and control but Pritchett gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pritchett sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Hardy is looking to improve his position but Pritchett isn't that keen on the idea. Hardy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pritchett looking to finish with strikes here!
Pritchett avoids the attempt from Hardy to control. Hardy regains half guard. Hardy won't allow Pritchett to pass to mount. Pritchett is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hardy defends it well. Hardy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pritchett postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Pritchett dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Pritchett's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hardy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Pritchett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pritchett working for a triangle but Hardy defends it easily.
Hardy stopping the sweep attempt from Pritchett. Hardy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pritchett's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hardy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy is looking to stand up but Pritchett won't let him. Hardy wants to control from the top but Pritchett keeps moving. Pritchett looking for a sweep. Not yet Pritchett, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A decent looking body kick lands there for Hardy. Hardy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pritchett.
Hardy misses with a takedown and Pritchett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hardy's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hardy looking for a guillotine here but Pritchett defends easily.
Hardy pushes Pritchett off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Hardy shoots and misses and Pritchett counters with a low kick, right behind Hardy 's knee. Pritchett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hardy is looking to clinch but Pritchett is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy throws a nice inside leg kick. Hardy misses with a takedown attempt and Pritchett counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Chris Pritchett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Hardy. Pritchett is thwarting Hardy's attempts to control the position. Pritchett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Pritchett is thwarting Hardy's attempts to control the position. Hardy tries to get to full guard but Pritchett has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardy wants to control but Pritchett is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pritchett takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hardy fails with the takedown and Pritchett counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pritchett is keen to just control but Hardy is a slippery customer. Hardy is trying to maintain the position but Pritchett is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hardy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pritchett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hardy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Hardy is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Pritchett is staying active. Hardy tries to roll over but Pritchett keeps him under control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hardy with a lazy takedown attempt and Pritchett counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Pritchett prevents Hardy from improving his position. Pritchett wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hardy keeps working. Hardy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pritchett is working away from the top position though. Hardy is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pritchett not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hardy is looking to control Pritchett's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hardy avoid being mounted? Pritchett is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Hardy has managed to free his arm - good work. Hardy is pressing down on Pritchett's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hardy controlling Pritchett's posture. Hardy looking to control.

Hardy wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Pritchett manages to pass to side control. Hardy is trying to control but can't.

And that's the end of the fight! Chris Pritchett showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pritchett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
