Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tor Nansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gee Damn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nansen comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - Thunder. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tor Nansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gee Damn!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nansen cracks the inside of Damn's front leg.
Damn ducks right into an uppercut from Nansen.
Nansen on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Damn just misses with a punch to the body.
Nansen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nansen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Damn.
Damn lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nansen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nansen wants it to stay on the feet.
Damn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nansen throws a head kick that misses.

Nansen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nansen showed some decent athleticism there.
Nansen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Nansen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Damn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nansen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Damn pushes Nansen off looking to stand but Nansen dives back in and keeps control.
Nansen trying to control the action but Damn is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Damn tries to get to full guard but Nansen has control of the leg.
Nansen is thwarting Damn's attempts to control the position.
Damn keeping hold of Nansen's head, controlling as best he can.
Nansen thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Damn to regain full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nansen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nansen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Damn scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nansen in his tracks.
Nansen misses with a low kick.
Nansen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Damn counters with a right hand to the body.
Damn scores with a jab to the head.
Damn loads up on a big right hand but Nansen slips the punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nansen misses with a looping left.
Damn checks a leg kick.

Damn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Damn is pulling down on Nansen's head to control his posture.
Nansen trying to control but Damn is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nansen stopping the sweep attempt from Damn.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tor Nansen will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Damn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Damn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nansen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Damn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nansen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gee Damn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damn misses with an uppercut. Nansen saw that one coming.
A right-left combo lands from Damn.
Nansen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Damn misses with a hook.
Damn throws a looping overhand right but Nansen ducks down to avoid it.
Damn with a poor takedown
and Nansen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Damn's knee momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Damn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Damn lands with a straight right. Nansen didn't see that one coming.
Damn misses with a leg kick
and Nansen counters with a nice uppercut.
Nansen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Damn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nansen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Nansen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Damn doesn't defend quickly enough and Nansen has managed to lock this one up! Can Damn escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Nansen on a fantastic submission victory.
