The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells moves away from the strike by Saint.
Some wild striking there from Wells.
Wells shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Saint as he avoids it easily.
Wells fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Saint avoids it really well and circles away.
Wells is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice defenses there by Wells.

Wells slips a jab from Saint.
Saint stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saint wants it to stay on the feet.

Saint throws the left hand but Wells avoids the punch easily.
Wells misses with a takedown attempt - Saint sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Saint is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nice takedown defense from Saint. No joy for Wells on that attempt.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wells. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Saint tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wells was well out of range. Poor timing from Saint.
The fighters circling - Saint throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wells looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Saint throws an overhand right that has Wells reeling! Saint follows up with more punches and Wells is out cold! This one is all over!
