Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tix Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Tix Kane has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane fails to land the takedown.
Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dude.
Dude throws the kick towards the body but Kane avoids it.
Dude shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kane.
Kane takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Kane being controlled here momentarily.
Dude really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dude works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dude wants to get back to his feet but Kane is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kane works over Dude with some ground and pound from guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dude can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dude wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dude escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kane landing with the ground and pound.
Dude throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kane won't allow Dude to sweep him here.
Kane is in close to Dude's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dude works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Dude is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kane is breathing heavily.
Dude is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kane postures up and lands a big shot to Dude's brow.
Dude utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kane won't allow Dude to sweep him here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kane circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kane counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dude!
Kane pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Dude tries to hold on but Kane postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kane putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Dude keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kane scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kane cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Dude wants to control but Kane is having none of it.
Dude is trying desperately to improve position.
Dude in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dude wants to hold on but Kane pushes him away.
A big strike lands for Kane! That's really hurt Dude and he's turned his back - Kane keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kane Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tix Kane!
