Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Cage! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage slaps away a takedown attempt from Harrison, before circling back to the center of the mat. Harrison circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cage with a poor takedown and Harrison counters by moving into the clinch. Cage has Harrison pressed against the cage, preventing Harrison from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Harrison has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cage avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Harrison tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Harrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cage tries to pull guard but Harrison won't allow it.

The is referee keeping an eye on Harrison - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Cage jumps guard but Harrison stands there with Cage around his waist. Cage gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cage tries to circle away but Harrison has him pinned against the cage. Cage has had enough of the clinch but Harrison keeps him there for the moment. Cage is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Harrison is keeping busy. Harrison has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cage avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage can't get the takedown.
Cage jumps guard but Harrison stands there with Cage around his waist. Cage gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cage tightens his grip and picks Harrison up, before dumping him to the ground. Harrison manages to land in guard. Cage won't allow Harrison to sweep him here. Cage looking to sit in guard and control but Harrison gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Harrison stands and throws Cage's legs to the side, diving into side control. Cage is trying to control Harrison's posture but Harrison avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cage is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cage seems a little lost for a moment, as Harrison dominates the positioning. Cage tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Harrison wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Harrison working away. Harrison controlling the position from side mount. Cage is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Harrison's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Harrison passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cage is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Cage looks gassed! Harrison controlling from mount. Cage wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Harrison patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison keeps control of the position easily here as Cage tries to buck him off.
Cage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harrison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Harrison is hanging on to Cage's back as he tries to escape.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Harrison. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Harrison controls the position. Cage can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Harrison dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Harrison misses with a takedown attempt so Cage counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Harrison is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cage tries to stand but Harrison is controlling from the bottom. Cage trying to control the position from guard on top but Harrison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harrison seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Cage gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cage clinches but Harrison breaks the clinch and Harrison counters with a left to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage misses with a takedown and Harrison counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cage tries to pull guard but Harrison holds him up against the cage and eventually Cage drops back down to his feet.

Steve Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Cage. Harrison's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Harrison throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cage counters with an outside leg kick.
Harrison lands a jab to Cage's midsection. Cage connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Harrison throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cage was covering up waiting for the punch and Harrison finishes the takedown easily into guard. Harrison seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison stops Cage from standing up. Harrison slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Harrison tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Harrison is chipping away with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cage down.

He's worked his way up against the cage but Harrison has just dragged him back down to the mat. Harrison working away. Cage is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Harrison is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Cage keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cage tries to hold on but Harrison pushes him away. Harrison looking to control and managing it successfully. The referee warns Cage that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Steve Harrison will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Harrison dives in and grabs Cage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cage pushes down on Harrison's head and hops out. Cage shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harrison sprawls well. Harrison wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cage gets slowly back to his feet. Cage doesn't manage to clinch there - Harrison circles away.
Harrison moves in looking to clinch but Cage pushes him off. Cage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cage trying to control the action but Harrison is working from the bottom. Cage is trying to ground and pound but Harrison uses the momentary lack of control by Cage to regain half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harrison keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage is looking to take a break and control but Harrison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cage wants to pass the guard but Harrison is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Harrison is trying to stand.
Harrison kicks Cage off and gets back to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Harrison. No joy for Cage on that attempt. Cage misses with a takedown attempt and Harrison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cage won't be happy with that. Steve Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Cage. Cage manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Harrison avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cage. Cage is keen to just control but Harrison is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cage performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Cage is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Steve Harrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cage throws a strike but Harrison avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Harrison lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cage! Cage is bucking up trying to escape but Harrison cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Cage flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Cage is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cage tries to hold on but Harrison pushes him away. Harrison tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Cage is looking to improve his position but Harrison isn't that keen on the idea. Harrison seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Cage is holding on tight.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Harrison showed his dominance in that final round. Well Harrison has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
