Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Small Fry KayO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KayO comes to the cage accompanied by Bag For Mercy. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Small Fry KayO! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, CJ Riley! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Riley.
Riley looking for a takedown here - he's got it. KayO is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Riley is pushing down on KayO's leg trying to pass to half guard. KayO is fighting to maintain full guard but Riley has managed to sneak the leg through. KayO wants to get back to his feet.
Riley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks KayO with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Riley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Riley trying to pass the guard but KayO defending well. Riley stops KayO from getting back to his feet.
Riley is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, KayO has managed to free his arm - good work. Riley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

KayO is pressing down on Riley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Riley stops KayO from standing up. KayO kicks Riley off and gets to his feet. KayO tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Riley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. KayO on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Riley feints and then cracks KayO's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow KayO down. Small Fry KayO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riley lands a right hook to the body.
KayO throws a head kick but Riley moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - KayO looks like he's thinking about clinching though. KayO pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Riley scores with a punch to the head. Small Fry KayO is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. KayO throws out a leg kick but Riley moves out of range and KayO only half commits. KayO tries a head kick but it misses.
KayO tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. KayO misses with a head kick.
KayO is breathing heavily. A slapping leg kick lands for Riley.
Riley scores with the left hand. KayO knows he should have avoided that one. KayO throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as KayO checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Riley avoids a kick to the body.
Riley lands with an uppercut that bounces KayO off the cage and back into rage. A bone on bone clash there as KayO blocks the leg kick.
KayO is looking to clinch. Riley smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Riley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A head kick misses from KayO. Riley keeps the fight on the outside. KayO is looking to score with low kicks. KayO avoids the body shot from Riley.
Riley lands a jab-cross combination. KayO misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A cross from Riley lands. Riley scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Riley moves out of range as KayO throws a body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. KayO tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. KayO pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Riley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but KayO moves out of range and avoids them all easily. KayO misses with a body kick. KayO tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice shot by Riley. Riley throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Riley digs a good body shot into KayO's ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Riley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Riley showed some decent athleticism there. Riley wants to work for an arm triangle but KayO is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice strikes from Riley there. Riley is working for a kimura but KayO is defending it quite comfortably.
KayO wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
CJ Riley dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Riley moves into range and connects with a jab. KayO is looking to clinch. Riley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. KayO tries to clinch up but Riley circles away and keeps his distance. Riley misses with a wild body shot.

KayO moves in looking to clinch but Riley pushes him off. KayO tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Riley lands a jab to the nose. Riley thows a body shot but no joy. KayO tries to clinch up. Riley lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
CJ Riley seems to be getting the better of the standup. A head kick misses from KayO. KayO is looking to clinch but Riley is avoiding it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Riley throws a shot to the body.

KayO tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Riley tries to keep at a distance but KayO has taken the fight into the clinch. Riley has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. KayO tries to land a knee to the head but Riley blocks with his arms.
KayO keeps control of Riley as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. KayO misses with a knee strike.
KayO is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Riley is defending well for now. KayO using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Riley has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Riley pushes KayO back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Riley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Riley throws a good cross that connects.
That's three minutes gone in the round. KayO on the wrong end of a nice jab. Riley lands with a hook. KayO tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. KayO wants to clinch. KayO throws a head kick but Riley moves out of range.
KayO gets caught flat footed, as Riley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Riley advances position into side control! Riley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Riley lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. KayO wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Riley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. KayO looks calm but he's in trouble here. Riley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. KayO is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Riley lets go of the hold and KayO can pop his arm back in it's socket.
