Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamid Munsif Kanaan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chen Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kanaan comes to the cage accompanied by Bonkers - Dizzee Rascal. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hamid Munsif Kanaan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chen Chong!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong throws a push kick but Kanaan slaps the foot to one side.
Chong closes the distance and clinches up with Kanaan, looking for a takedown. Chong pushes Kanaan against the cage but Kanaan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kanaan avoids the head kick by Chong.
Kanaan tries a low kick but Chong avoids it.
Kanaan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chong throws a lazy right hand but Kanaan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kanaan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kanaan stuffs the takedown.
Chong shoots in for a double leg but Kanaan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hamid Munsif Kanaan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chen Chong.

Chong tries to land a front kick but Kanaan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Chong looks to throw the jab but Kanaan is out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chong missing with a left hand there. Kanaan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kanaan throws a low kick, looking for Chong's leg but Chong calmly moves out of range.
Kanaan lands a left and a right that send Chong crashing to the mat, dazed. Kanaan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chong.
Kanaan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kanaan wants it to stay on the feet.

Kanaan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Chong takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kanaan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kanaan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Chong is out of range.
Kanaan tried to score with a low kick but Chong checks it.
Kanaan leaves Chong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kanaan throws a chopping leg kick but Chong manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kanaan looks to land a combination but Chong avoids it well.

Kanaan wants to slow Chong down by chopping away at his legs.
Kanaan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chong.
Chong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kanaan.
Chong decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Chong escapes and gets back to his feet.
Chong turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kanaan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

I looks like Chong might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kanaan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kanaan tries to get out of the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Chen Chong just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chong bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Hamid Munsif Kanaan has been cut.
Chong shoots in and drives through. Kanaan sprawls well.
Kanaan throws a series of punches but Chong avoids them all with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chong fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kanaan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chong, as that shot connected.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kanaan circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice uppercut there from Chong.
A lazy left from Chong finds it's target.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kanaan seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Chong shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Kanaan is backing up but Chong catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Kanaan covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Chong Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chen Chong!
