1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raging Bear! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear stuffs the takedown. Bear misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cavalera fails with a takedown attempt. Bear fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cavalera sprawls well initially but Bear persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bear tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cavalera knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bear working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Cavalera's thigh. Cavalera counters though and makes it back to full guard. Cavalera looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bear stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Cavalera throws up his legs and catches Bear in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Bear tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Cavalera! That came out of nowhere!
