Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake's entrance music is Riot Maker by Tech N9ne. A fine choice. Joseph Rogan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gavin Drake's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gavin Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Drake.
Rogan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drake.
Rogan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Drake dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rogan. That did some damage!
Rogan missing with a left hand there. Drake was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Drake moves away from the strike by Rogan.
Rogan misses with a hook. Drake ducked under it nicely.
Rogan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Drake.
Drake fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gavin Drake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogan throws a head kick that misses.
A slow jab from Rogan misses its intended target.
Rogan scores with a jab to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rogan lands a nice shot that snaps Drake's head back.
Drake is rocked!
Drake shoots in but Rogan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Drake looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Drake drives through with a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Drake accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Drake missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Rogan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Drake trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drake wants to control from the top but Rogan keeps moving.
Drake is looking to work some ground and pound but Rogan has wrist control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rogan can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Drake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Drake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rogan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Drake is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rogan misses the jab.
Drake shoots in for a takedown but Rogan shows good takedown defense.
Rogan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rogan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Drake at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rogan cracks Drake with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Drake looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rogan finish him?
Oh Drake is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Drake walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Rogan swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joseph Rogan!
