Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Novittu Saatana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Danskain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Toni Danskain! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danskain moves in looking to clinch but Saatana pushes him off. Good work by Danskain as he checks the leg kick. Danskain should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Saatana ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Danskain moves away. Saatana looks to clinch and Danskain counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Saatana clinches but Danskain breaks the clinch and Danskain counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Saatana tries to clinch up and Danskain counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Danskain seems to be looking for submissions.
Saatana is trying to stand up here but Danskain is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Danskain stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Danskain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Danskain looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Saatana! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saatana holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Danskain tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danskain sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Danskain has control of Saatana's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Saatana regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Danskain controlling the pace for now. Danskain working away from the top, dropping strikes. Danskain goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Saatana turns into him and now he's in Danskain's guard.
Saatana has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Danskain is proving hard to escape from. Danskain has his feet on Saatana's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Saatana throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Danskain counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saatana throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Danskain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Saatana is breathing heavily. Danskain wants to control from the top but Saatana keeps moving. Danskain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Danskain trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Danskain wants to control from the top but Saatana keeps moving. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Danskain looking to sit in guard and control but Saatana gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Danskain being controlled here, momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saatana stands up from Danskain's guard - Saatana perhaps looking for a knockout. Danskain throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Saatana has closed the distance and engaged Danskain in a clinch.

Saatana misses with a takedown so Danskain counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Danskain stands and steps away. Saatana gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Saatana with a poor takedown and Danskain counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Saatana's guard now. Danskain trying to control the position from guard on top but Saatana is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toni Danskain dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Saatana wants to clinch but Danskain slips to the side and Danskain counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Danskain. Danskain lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Danskain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Novittu Saatana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Danskain throws a head kick but Saatana moves out of range.

Saatana closes the distance and clinches up with Danskain, looking for a takedown. Saatana pushes Danskain against the cage but Danskain circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Danskain darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Saatana is trying to stand back up but Danskain is controlling him

Danskain trying to control the position from guard on top but Saatana is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Danskain wants to stand but Saatana is controlling his posture from full guard. Toni Danskain has got the better of the ground game so far. Danskain trying to control but Saatana is working from the bottom. Danskain controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Saatana trying to keep a closed guard but Danskain is proving a slippery customer.

Danskain tries to clinch but Saatana moves out of range. Danskain gets a clinch. Danskain lands with a light punch inside. Saatana has Danskain pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Danskain manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Novittu Saatana. That's going to take a lot out of him. Saatana has had enough of the clinch but Danskain keeps him there for the moment. Danskain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Saatana tries to clinch up and Danskain moves into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Saatana fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Danskain, pushing him back against the cage. Saatana wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Saatana wants to get back to striking at distance but Danskain won't allow it.

Danskain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Saatana as he avoids it easily. Saatana looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Saatana looks for a takedown but Danskain sprawls well. Saatana fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Danskain sprawls well initially but Saatana persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Danskain is pressing down on Saatana's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Danskain wriggles free and stands up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Saatana throws a sloppy head kick and Danskain counters by clinching up. Saatana is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Danskain breaks the clinch.
Danskain has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Saatana misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Danskain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toni Danskain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Danskain shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Danskain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Saatana is squirming around, avoiding Danskain's attempts to control the action. Saatana tries to buck Danskain off but he can't manage it. Danskain controlling from mount. Danskain looking to control but Saatana is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Saatana is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Danskain controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danskain can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Saatana is looking to escape. Danskain controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Danskain wants to take his opponent's back but Saatana doesn't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Saatana is trying to escape the mount.
Danskain trying to control but he's not successful this time. Saatana working to try and regain half guard.
Saatana is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danskain looking to control and managing it successfully. Danskain is in the full mount, landing strikes. Saatana wants to hold on but Danskain pushes him away. Novittu Saatana has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Saatana is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Saatana defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Danskain. Saatana trying desperately to get to his feet.
Saatana tries to hold on but Danskain postures up. Saatana is working to get back to half guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Saatana is trying to escape the mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Toni Danskain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Danskain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
