The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hosseini throws a nice looking combination but Scott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hosseini can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Mark Scott's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Scott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hosseini manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Scott swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hosseini is now in Scott's guard. A big mistake from Scott there, giving up the dominant position!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hosseini swivels though and keeps the full guard.
