Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alberta Wrecking Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uzi Issur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Issur has chosen I wanna rock right now as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Uzi Issur! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Issur shoots in for a takedown but Machine shows good takedown defense. Issur goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Horrible takedown by Issur or perhaps it was just good defense by Machine which made him look bad. Issur clinches. Issur tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Issur escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machine gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Issur is looking to stand up but Machine isn't so interested in that idea. Machine trying to control the position from guard on top but Issur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Issur can't do much from the bottom here. Machine is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Issur knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Machine trying to control the action but Issur is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Machine working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Issur is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Machine sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Issur is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Issur tries to buck Machine off but Machine is having none of it. Issur really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Machine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Issur looks gassed!
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Machine misses with a takedown and Issur counters with a nice double leg into side control. Machine won't be happy with that. Machine tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uzi Issur dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Issur shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Machine but Machine pushes him off and we're back to square one. Issur feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Machine is on top in guard.

Issur wants to hit a switch here but Machine passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Issur there! Machine unloads with some shots from mount but Issur bucks and avoids them well.

Machine sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Issur is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Machine looking for a guillotine from mount but Issur is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Issur wants to control but Machine is having none of it. Issur is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Issur is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Issur can do anything to dispel that myth. Machine trying to control but he's not successful this time. Machine throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Issur because Machine loaded up on that one. Machine is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Machine extends the arm and Issur is forced to tap!
